Garuda Indonesia offers a dedicated Lost & Found service to help passengers
recover belongings misplaced during their journey.
Where to Report Lost Items
If you lose an item on board, at check-in, in the cabin, or at the baggage claim
area, you should:

Contact the Lost & Found Office at the airport where the item was lost.
•
Visit the Baggage Service Counter immediately upon arrival.
•
Submit a Lost Item Report via Garuda Indonesia’s official website or customer
service hotline.
Information Required When Reporting
To assist in locating your belongings, provide:
•
Passenger name and contact details
•
Flight number and travel date
•
Detailed description of the item (brand, color, distinctive features)
•
Seat number or last known location of the item
Lost Baggage Handling
If checked baggage is missing, Garuda Indonesia uses the WorldTracer system to
track it and keep passengers informed. Compensation may be offered if baggage is
permanently lost, subject to airline policy.
Claiming Found Items
When your item is recovered, you must present valid identification and a claim
reference number at the respective Lost & Found office.
For additional support, passengers can contact Garuda Indonesia Customer Service
or the Lost & Found team at their arrival airport. Acting promptly increases the
chances of recovering lost belongings.
