Garuda Indonesia offers a dedicated Lost & Found service to help passengers recover belongings misplaced during their journey.

Where to Report Lost Items

If you lose an item on board, at check-in, in the cabin, or at the baggage claim area, you should:

• Contact the Lost & Found Office at the airport where the item was lost.

• Visit the Baggage Service Counter immediately upon arrival.

• Submit a Lost Item Report via Garuda Indonesia’s official website or customer service hotline.

Information Required When Reporting

To assist in locating your belongings, provide:

• Passenger name and contact details

• Flight number and travel date

• Detailed description of the item (brand, color, distinctive features)

• Seat number or last known location of the item

Lost Baggage Handling

If checked baggage is missing, Garuda Indonesia uses the WorldTracer system to track it and keep passengers informed. Compensation may be offered if baggage is permanently lost, subject to airline policy.

Claiming Found Items

When your item is recovered, you must present valid identification and a claim reference number at the respective Lost & Found office.

For additional support, passengers can contact Garuda Indonesia Customer Service or the Lost & Found team at their arrival airport. Acting promptly increases the chances of recovering lost belongings.
