Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways, operating under the Qatar Airways name, is the state-owned
national airline of Qatar. Based at the Qatar Airways Tower in Doha, the airline
runs a hub-and-spoke model, connecting more than 140 global destinations from
its main hub at Hamad International Airport, with a fleet of over 100 aircraft.
As of December 2024, Qatar Airways operates more than 1,200 flights weekly,
linking 140+ international locations. The airline became a member of the
Oneworld alliance in October 2013, being the first Gulf airline to join one of
the three major global airline alliances.
