If you have lost an item during your journey with Turkish Airlines, you
can follow these steps to report and recover it:
Lost Items at the Airport
If you misplaced your
belongings within the airport (prior to security, during check-in, or after
arrival), reach out to the Lost & Found office at the specific airport.
Each airport manages its own Lost & Found services, and Turkish Airlines is not
liable for items lost within general airport premises.
Lost Items
on a Turkish Airlines Flight
If you left an item onboard a
Turkish Airlines aircraft or in a Turkish Airlines lounge, you can report it
through:
Turkish Airlines Lost & Found Office at your arrival airport.
The official Turkish Airlines website under the Lost & Found section.
Istanbul Airport Lost & Found Office (if your journey included Istanbul
Airport).
Checked Baggage Issues (Delayed, Damaged, or Missing
Bags)
If your checked bag does not arrive, promptly go to the
Baggage Services Desk at the airport once you land.
You will be given a
Property Irregularity Report (PIR) with a reference code to help you track your
luggage.
The current status of your missing baggage can be tracked
through the WorldTracer system on the Turkish Airlines website.
If your
baggage remains unlocated for more than 30 days, you may qualify for
compensation.
