Korean Air
Korean Air Lines Co., Ltd., doing business as Korean Air, is South Korea’s
largest carrier and national airline in terms of fleet size, overseas routes,
and international operations.
The airline’s main headquarters are situated in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
Korean Air originated as Korean National Airlines in 1946. Following years of
development and growth, it became fully privatized in 1969.
As of March
2025, Korean Air operates flights to 10 domestic cities and approximately 126
international locations in 44 nations across five continents. This count
excludes seasonal charter routes but includes cargo destinations.
