Emirates is an airline based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a subsidiary
of The Emirates Group, fully owned by the Investment Corporation of Dubai, which
is the government’s investment arm.
Emirates ranks as the fourth largest airline globally by scheduled revenue
passenger-kilometers and the second largest in terms of cargo tonne kilometers.
The airline also operates four of the longest non-stop commercial flights in
the world, connecting Dubai to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas/Fort Worth,
and Houston.
As of June 2025, it operates an expansive global network
comprising approximately 143 destinations in 77 countries including
Indonesia.
Its cargo operations are managed by SkyCargo.
